CAPS-UAW Supervisor/Manager Member:
Pay Letter 24-20, implementing the 2% general salary increase (GSI) for S10/M10 excluded employees whose classifications are “tied to Unit 9”, has just been released. You can read it here (see page 22). Unfortunately, as CalHR notified us, the excluded classifications that are not (currently) tied to Unit 9 did not receive an increase. As mentioned in our prior Update, your CAPS-UAW leadership is continuing to push the administration to remedy this. Our previous proposal – which CalHR chose not to implement – would accomplish this.
The effective date for the GSI is July 1, 2024, so if you’re in a “LPLW” classification, it should appear on your next paycheck. A complete list of those classifications is below for your convenience.
