1-minute action to fight RTO:
In July 2025, we, CAPS-UAW, alongside your fellow state workers secured a 1-year delay to the implementation of Governor Newsom’s costly, unfounded Return-to-Office (RTO) Executive Order that would force us into the office 4 days per week [RTO Side Letter].
You and your co-workers made it clear that we would not stand by as the governor arbitrarily forced us to sit in worse traffic, pay more for gas, and pollute the environment with no tangible improvement to our productivity or our service to the people of California. The delay was a HUGE victory that WE WON for ourselves.
