Dear Colleague:
There are currently two vacancies on the CAPS-UAW Board of Directors for Districts II and IV representative spots. Pursuant to the CAPS Bylaws, Article VIII, Section 6(d), “A vacancy in any other office or Board position shall be filled by the Board from the membership and serve the remainder of the unexpired term. (Revised 11/15/97).”
To fill these positions, rank-and-file CAPS-UAW members who work in Districts II and IV are invited to nominate themselves for a spot on the Board. Join your fellow State Scientists in serving our union as we work toward equitable treatment and a fair contract.
For the rules and qualifications surrounding your nomination, please review the guidelines and complete the nomination form found here. Interested members must submit a nomination form no later than 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. We look forward to reviewing nomination forms from interested members!
