The Action: July 26 Teach in and Lunchtime Rallies at YOUR worksites!

When: July 26 from 12PM-1PM
How to participate:
- To participate in the Virtual CAPS Teach-in, please register here. The Teach in will run from 12pm-12:20pm
- Pro Tip: Organize a watch-party in one of your worksite’s conference rooms with AV capabilities and invite the office!
- To participate in the Lunchtime Rallies, please see if your worksite is on the Commitment Chart! If not, consider volunteering as the Rally Coordinator for your worksite here. Lunchtime Rallies will be held from 12:30-12:50pm, following the Teach in.
The Goal:
The Teach-In and Lunchtime Rallies are meant to be visible actions where State Scientists work. Participate in these actions to show that YOU support YOUR Bargaining Team and illustrate to the Administration that State Scientists demand to be valued and recognized for the important work you do!
CAPS Rallies are meant to be a VISUAL Action! Take to social media to be sure that your efforts are making the noise CAPS needs. Take a picture of yourself and your colleagues rocking your CAPS green! (Still need a shirt? Order one here!) Tag CAPS on social media: @capsscientists (Instagram and Twitter) and use the hashtag #ValueScientists. Email your photos to caps@capsscientists.org to be featured on CAPS’ social media.
