LPLW Classifications Provided 3% Raise. Supervisory and Managerial Unit 10 Classifications that were included in the 2008 Like Pay for Like Work Lawsuit have been provided a 3% raise, effective July 1, 2023, consistent with their counterparts in Unit 9. You can see a copy of the Pay Letter here. 

CAPS and CalHR Scheduling Sup M&C. CAPS has been working with CalHR to schedule a Meet and Confer to put forth proposals for 2023. A meeting is currently being scheduled for late August. Stay tuned for more information! 

Board of Directors Meeting Soon. The next Board of Directors’ (BOD) Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 9 a.m. Members are invited to attend the meeting, via Zoom. In order to attend, you must pre-register for the event, and be sure to abide the CAPS Virtual Meeting Participant Expectations.

Pre-Board of Directors Meeting Virtual Worksite Meetings.  In advance of the Board of Directors’ Meeting on Saturday, August 19, 2023, the CAPS BOD will be hosting virtual “worksite” meetings to allow members a forum to hear from and talk to their Board Members. The meeting will begin with a presentation by the Board, covering recent events and committee work, and end with a Question and Answer session, open to members present. 

The two virtual Worksite Meetings will be held for Districts 1, 2 and 4 on Thursday, August 17, 2023, for Districts 3 and 5 on Friday, August 18, 2023, from noon to 1 p.m. Registration links were emailed to members in the appropriate district, and will be re-sent to folks next week.
