Salary Inequity HURTS Real People

The CAPS Team on April 29 reviewed the lack of actual salary growth since July 2005 for the two most populous and representative Unit 10 classifications:  ES Range C and Senior ES (Specialist).  Since July 2005, scientists at the top step of these classifications have seen their salary increase by just 15.11% and 10.22%, respectively. That’s NOT counting time during which mandatory unpaid furloughs were imposed.
